Equal

You and I,

We,

Are,

All,

Equal.

From the nose that breathes,

To the brain that thinks,

We are all equal.

Well…it’s one of those days when I’ve been taken back to thoughts I had as a young girl. My best friend happened to be from a different part of the world, a different religion. And , I could not allow myself to believe that she- the most amazing person I had met, would not be with me on the other side, but, would be damned to eternal suffering.

We,

take different routes,

to the same destination,

Searching,

For home.

Our bodies are made up of 70% water. That’s the one thing that always facinates me. Regardless of what we think we are…There’s a lot of water in us. No matter where we live, there’s a hell of water in us.

You and I,

We,

Are,

All,

Equal.

From the nose that breathes,

To the brain that thinks,

We are all equal.
